Anything BUT a card project.
Tags are so fun and easy for the most part.
They can be elaborate or super simple.

My tag was quite easy once I figured out what theme to go with.

I mainly wanted to incorporate those pretty birds from the 

Birds & Cages piccolo set.

I like the vintage vibe using the distressed ink

along with the Tulip Lattice stencil with lavender acrylic paint.

I decided a red, white and snowflake theme was perfect for our

cool weather in NC...no snow...YET and that's ok with me!

I prefer paper snowflakes, they are much warmer.

Summer - time for Butterflies : )

I hope you will join us for the Summer challenge at Sweet Stamps this week! I had fun with Peerless Watercolors and tried something new from Technique Junkies- Splattered Ombre Watercolors.

 The image is embossed on watercolor paper, then stamped again. After watercoloring, I fussy cut them and added a little Wink of Stella for shimmer.

 Here is a close-up of the dimension and sparkle:
