Chalkboard technique with Guest Designer Elizabeth H.

Hi again from Maryland. It is week three for my guest designing spot at Sweet Stamps and I am very excited about the technique we have this week -- the very popular technique of chalkboard stamping. It is such the rage right now and so easy to do. Just use black paper and ink your stamp with white ink. I always tap a little ink off because you  really don't want it solid bright white - you want it to look like a chalkboard. You can also smudge a tiny bit of white ink around to give it a more realistic look.

The stamp I used this week from Sweet Stamps is very cool (Billy Painting Happy Birthday Duo/549). The stamp is a duo that comes with the boy and the happy birthday sentiment -- but they are separate pieces and that will give you lots of choices for placement. A very fun stamp!
