Good morning-
Calypso here to share with you a gorgeous card made using the "Chalk Board Technique" which I completely love. I know that black is not really a color used most often for Christmas cards, but I just could't help myself.
For my card today, I am using "Madonna and Child Stained Glass" and "Merry Christmas" sentiment; which have all been heat embossed with "White Detailed Embossing Powder". I then took the SweetStamps white dye ink and with a q-tip, added the white detail above the head of the image and around the sentiment. I then distressed the edges.
I try not to make 6x6 cards, simply because I do not have the envelopes for them, but I could't resist adding more and more detail to the card. That is a rare occurrence for me too, since I like to keep my cards clean and simple, but not over ally simple. I added the candy dots on the left hand corner and and gorgeous clusters of flowers.
