YAY! IT'S NEW RELEASE DAY!
I'm very excited today to share with you SweetStamps.com's NEWEST RELEASE featuring Silhouettes, From the Garden and Decorative Elements!
These stamps are now available for purchase at our online store. We'll be giving some of the new stamps away too, so be sure to leave a little love here in the comments, let us know which image(s) you like the best! We'd love for you to become a follower of our blog too. We've got some new and exciting things coming up for November!

Take a look at some of the artwork we've created with these new images...

6009e Gone Fishin' Silhouette stamped in Brownie ink onto cream ATC layer and vellum ATC layer, stippled in Dandelion & Orange inks on cream ATC. The vellum was painted with CI paints (also used this as the "glue" to hold the vellum down). Added CI paint to the top of the vellum too for a shimmery reflection in the water!

6007e Robyn Birdie Silhouette was stamped in French Roast ink onto White ATC panel. Nassau Blue was brayered onto the background and edges were torn then sponged with Latte ink.  Black CS was embossed with Drink Me embossing folder, adorned with ribbon and the birdie layer was attached using pop dots.

4010g Tall Mums stamped in Gilbraltar ink onto a White ATC panel and colored with Distress Markers. Background was stamped with coarse pouncer in Latte ink, which was also used to sponge around the ATC panel. Scalloped Coved Rectangle was diecut from Orange CS, then embossed with Whisper embossing folder (after the White ATC panel was adhered.) Latte ink was sponged across the embossed image to make it stand out. Adhered to a layer of Persimmon CS and embellished with polka dot ribbon and Dew Drops.

  1. Great samples - I think the first set would be my preference - love the boy fishing!

  2. My favourite would probably be, 'From the Garden', as I picture so many possibilities. I've not worked with silhouettes before though, I must admit that lady in the hat sure is eye catching.

  4. Even though I prefer tall skinny images for utility (I make mostly bookmarks), I really love the silhouette fisherman.

  5. I really love the corner stamp but when I first took a look, the. Robyn bird was the one I knew I must have. So many uses from spring to graduation to sad farewells.

  8. All of these new releases are lovely, but my favorites are the Silhouettes. They could be used front & center or tucked behind as backgrounds. Already have ideas spinning so crossing my fingers ;-)

  9. Wow! How do you choose when each set provides so many possibilities...I love them all, but if I must choose one, it would be "Silhouettes"

  24. From the Silhouettes, I absolutely adore the Queen Anne's Wildflowers! This would be awesome in the foreground of a meadow scene. It would be awesome by itself on a sympathy or missing you card. It would also be a great image stamped and then cut the stamped image into 4 equal squares to look like a window scene. Image how gorgeous this would be stamped as design paper! The possibilities are endless!

The Gone Fishin' stamp would also be wonderful embossed or used as a missing you card to a child from his dad. How gorgeous this would be stamped with distress ink on kraft paper. I really love the idea from the sample card.

It's as hard to pick a favorite From the Garden stamp. Although daisies are my favorite flower, I could see lots of uses for the Bold Blooms Tall Corner. I'm altering different types of boxes as Christmas presents, and this stamp would be gorgeous on them. It would also be a great stamp to use to make stationary gifts. This would be a great stamp to try out two colors of embossing.

The Decorative Elements Stamp Set would be so much fun to play with. I could dress up so many of my cards with these used on the corners of stamped images, but I would also love to see portions of these cut out and layered for dimension. I love the idea of connecting the images as a focal point or even used as a border.

You really make it so hard to pick just one stamp!!!

  25. Cool! Neat new stamps! I don't know whether I like the flowers or the decorative elements the most, but I *do* know I *love* the "reflection" effect used in the sample card with the fishing stamp.
