Use your favorite embellishment....'Except I cannot pick just one......!  I am a lover of lace, ribbon and sewing on cards. So, I added all three : )

 The Butterscotch cardstock has Butterscotch ink (Spot) through a stencil as a background- it is a subtle backdrop for the floral image. I colored the image with Copics. I used a towel and Copic Colorless Blender '0' to texturize the vase.

 Here is a close-up of the Enamel Embossed chipboard piece- pictures do not do this embossing powder justice!

Whimsey Flower

This week's challenge is Favorite Embellishment.  My choice was the enamel dots scattered around the image.  The challenge doesn't end until Monday evening the 19th so play along and upload your card to the this blog for a chance to win a gift certificate to the online store.

My card is a very simple design using decorative tape, Copic markers for coloring the flower and one of the new stencils - Oval Dots from SweetStamps to highlight the edges.  To get my perfect borders I used the Perfect Layers.  All panels are popped up on the base with foam tape.
