Thanks

Have you seen the other beautiful cards this week. The challenge for the week was THANKS and I am Thankful to be on this team of creative ladies.

For my card I again went with simple. A soft blue blank card, layered with various green hills, I stamped it using the Earthy package of stamps and the Swirly Tree Stamp along with the Framed Sentiments set,  using the larger of the two trees. I varied the stamping colors on my tree and the Sentiment.

These would be a great gift set - or even a good place marker at the seasonal gatherings.

Have a fantastic week.

Watercolored Thank You

Good morning-
Calypso, here with you today to share a gorgeous watercolored thank you card, that is perfect for ANY occasion.   With Thanksgiving being just a few days away, what better way to extras your gratitude than with a hand made card.  SweetStamps has a HUGE selection of stamps that are perfect for saying "Thank You", but I wanted to do it a little different this week.
For my card today, I am using the beautiful stamp "Blossom" with I stamped with distress embossing ink and Detail Pearl embossing Powder.  I used Peerless watercolors and a water brush to color my image.   My original plan was to stamp the "thank you" sentiment down at the bottom right corner, but it just didn't feel right.  So I took a chance and stamped the sentiment randomly around the image and heat embossed with the Pearl embossing Powder.
Hope you have enjoyed my card today and I hope that you can join our "THANKS" challenge this week. You can link your card HERE

Hope you have a great weekend and I hope that you have a Happy Thanksgiving week and I will see you back here on Saturday.

Hugs,
Nazeema "Calypso" Thompson

Did Someone Say Turkey Owl?!

I did!!!  hehehehe!  Lisa here with you and Happy Friday!!!  Today I'm sharing with you the cutest little turkey you have ever seen... because it is an Owl Turkey!!!!  Check it out...

To create this card I started with a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4" card base.  I then ran it through my embosser.  Next I die cut several patterned papers to create my frame.  The final steps involved stamping, coloring and fussy cutting this super duper cute guy out.  I stamped the sentiment in the upper corner, added some bling with sequins as "leaves", and adhered him with foam adhesive... ta da!!!

Supplies Used:

I hope you are having a great week and make sure you take some time to join us in our Thanks Challenge to win a $10 gc to the store, woo hoo!!!

Happy Crafting!

Give Thanks

This 'lil Sweeties Avery Cornucopia seemed the perfect image for the 'Give Thanks' theme this week.
Avery was colored using Copic Sketch markers. On the bottom, I just dotted on many colors of brown, and used E00 to blend them all.The sky is sponged using a scalloped punch and blue ink- hardly noticeable in the picture. The sentiment is from the Fall Owls Clear set.
The cardstocks are all Coordinations (except the white).

Here are all of the products from the Store I used on my card:

Happy Christmas

Donna K here with you today sharing my Happy Christmas card.
I decided a red, white and snowflake theme was perfect for our
cool weather in NC...no snow...YET and that's ok with me!
I prefer paper snowflakes, they are much warmer.
Be sure to scroll down to yesterday's post for our latest challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Enjoy your Tuesday.
