Today, Steph Ackerman shares a card created with Xyron's Sticker Maker and Glue Stick:
Good morning, Steph here and I wanted to share this quick and easy card today. It's easy to create stunning cards when using Globecraft Memories products and Xyron adhesive.
Starting with black cardstock, I cut it to a 4 1/2" square to fit my 5" card base. I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink, added Mermaid Tears and then heat set. I love the shimmery look I was able to achieve.
I stamped, colored, and die cut the rose. Before adhering it to the card, I added a light coat of Glastique which gave the rose a nice dimensional effect and since I used a light coat, it dried fairly quickly. I used Xyron adhesive to adhere the rose to the card. Xyron adhesive, while permanent, does allow you some time to reposition your items. I was able to move the rose several times until I was happy with it's final spot on the card.
To emphasize the sentiment, I scored 1/2" around the panel. Finally, I just wanted a hint of color around the card so I swiped embossing ink around the edges, added Mermaid Tears and heat set. Using the Xyron Glue Stick I adhered the black panel to the card base.

I use my 1" Xyron sticker maker to put my Cricut cutouts together. Only problem, it was too small to do all of them so I ordered, and just receive today, the 2.5" and the 5" machines. :-)

Amazing card, as stated above, my favorite way to use Xyron products is for adhesive for card making and scrapbooking
My fav way to use Xyron projects is my Xyron X to easily stick down small items.
Beautiful card. I love blue roses so this was cool to see. I Love using Xyron products on card making and layouts. Their adhesive is awesome and sticks everything together very well.

I have 5 xyron's, but my favorite has got to be the X sticker maker.What a beautiful card.
I have to have my Xyron X for any tiny embellishment for my paper crafting. My larger Xyron machine is perfect for delicate and intricate things like doilies. Just run in through, get rid of extra adhesive with eraser between the holes and I know it will adhere perfectly on my project!

I have not used yet but I would like to try to get great adhesive coverage for my flat embellishments.
I bought a Xyron YEARS ago. . .like 11 years ago LOL. I was already a scrapbooker and a cardmaker, along with all sorts of crafts, but that was not the main reason I needed a Xyron at the time. My middle child had just been diagnosed with Autism, three weeks before my youngest child was born, who was found to be blind at 3 days old. I used the Xyron to make, laminate, stick words and pictures. . even created magnets. I used these to teach my middle son to speak, something the experts told me I wouldn't be able to do. . . it's never wise to tell me I CAN'T do something, lol. At 9 months old my youngest started seeing, also something they said was impossible. I used many of the same things to teach him early on as I had used with older son - and some things I learned specifically to use with my visually impaired child worked well with my other son. . .those words, pictures moved into full sentences. . .and the learning and crafting continues today :)
i love the xron creatopia and sticker makers can not live with out them when making cards and scrapping ...love the card too thanks for showing me how it was done ...can't wait to try it !
My favorite way to use Xyron products is by using adhesive runners on the back of all the embelishments. The Xyron runners make my project take less time and my scrapbook pages and handmade cards turn out beautiful. I have never tried Piccolo products but I'm sure they would make an awesome addition to my craft supplies. Thanks for having this giveaway! ;)
I have every Xyron product currently being sold and then some.
I love all my xyrons for putting edge to edge glue on all my card making pieces. Super helpful with the small things.
