Happy Monday! Kim here to share with you a sweet card using the Piece of Cake stamp set. I am pairing chocolate with pink to make this a chocolate strawberry cake. I cut the green cardstock a bit larger than the cake image to stamp a sentiment on it. The sentiment is from the Banner Girl & Words set. I had large leftover pieces of the sprinkles paper so I added it to the card front. Sprinkles are fun to add to sweet treats. I also used a small piece of die cut scallop border to the card and found some green polka dot ribbon to add to it.

Rosey Posey Card
Hi, Josette here with my Tuesday installment. I am on a flower kick, I so want it to be spring. Which it might be soon. The weather in Texas is warm and sunny and the animals are shedding like crazy. So even though I don't have flowers blooming in my yard, they are blooming in abundance in my craft room!!
This was a very fun card to make. Using Cabbage Rose stamp, I stamped it randomly onto white card stock and then inked with Spun Sugar distress ink.
Next, I used watercolor pain in a red and green and laid down an irregular patch of red and green.
Stamped the image onto each of the two sections and cut them out. By doing this I get the look of shading and variation of color without actually coloring. By stamping last, the ink stays bright and crisp.
After cutting out, I layered them and added highlights (lowlights) with a black glaze pen, a placed a few rhinestones in the center.
A black ribbon finishes the look. Rhinestones were added to the ribbon and on the center of one of the background roses for added bling. This was mounted on a pink matt and then finally onto a White A2 Card base.
Until next week,
Happy Crafting

Die-cut Foiled Burlap Bags
Hello Sweeties and HAPPY Saturday!!
I've been on foiling kick, ever since I made my hubby's Valentine's Day card.
It is so much fun and SUPER easy too!!
So I found out that I could foil material!!! Yes!!!!
I grabbed the most intricate dies from SweetStamps: Flourish Medallions and Mini Medallion and I put this kit to the test. The Deco Foil Iron Adhesive Sheets: includes5 sheets of bonding paper and parchment paper too.
My girlfriend, Jennifer sent me these bags that she told me she picked up from Michaels for my birthday. The instruction how to use this is every simple. I used dies, so I placed the parchment paper down first, them the rough side of the bonding paper and then my die. Ran it through my cutter. Since these dies are so intricate, it took a little bit of work to get the bonding paper out.
I made sure that the parchment paper was removed from the back of the bonding paper. Placed the die cut on my burlap bags, sandwiched between two sheets of printer paper and ran it through my laminator!!! I did run it through my laminator!!! It was thin enough to feed through with no problem. So try this at your own risk!!! :) Once it cooled, I removed the paper that's on top of the bonding paper. So by running it through the laminator the first time, we simply bonded/adhered it to the burlap bags, now by removing the thin sheet will expose the adhesive to allow the foil to stick to it!!! As you can see in the photo above, the far right photo is what it looks like once the paper is removed!! :) I chose Deco Foil Lime, I trimmed a section of the foil, sandwiched again between the two printer paper and ran it through again. Let it cool for a few second and lift the foil to reveal the beauty of the foil!! :)
Here is a photo of the completed bags!!!!
I have a new addiction and I am loving it!!!
Thank you for swinging by today and make sure you stop by SweetStamps tomorrow, for the start of our new monthly challenge.
Hugs.

Love You Valentines Bags
Hey friends! kel here today to share with you the finished bag I made for my kids' teachers for Valentines!! If you remember, a couple weeks ago I shared with you this work in progress... and then I finally finished them up in time for Valentines' Day! And now that they're done and all handed out, I can share the finished product with you!!
I didn't end up adding much more than a scalloped border... I think this was enough to decorate the bag, don't you think?!? And I had so much fun coloring this pair up... They are just too cute together!
Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!!

Floral Delight
Josette here with another Tuesday card. I have another flower card and used the Parrot_Tulips_ATC.
Stamping and then Embossing before coloring your image can lead to interesting but simple cards.
I used a white pigment ink to stamp the image and greeting. Then I embossed using a clear embossing powder.
Not apparent in this photo, but by adding clear embossing powder over white ink, the starkness of the white ink was toned down a bit. This also allows me to "get to work" sooner and not worrying about smearing the ink. White Pigment Ink can take a long time to dry. I then colored the image with color pencils, very minimally.
By doing this on a black card stock, minimal coloring is needed. A few embellishments and a ribbon is all that is needed finished the look. This is an A2 card, matted on pink cardstock and then a white card base. Rhinestones finish off the look with just a little bling.

Love You Lots
Happy Monday! Kim here to share with you a card I made for today's Sweet Stamps' post. Although Valentine's Day is over, this stamp Love You Lots Couple set is perfect for any occasion. This couple is from the Love You Lots stamp set.
I embossed the white background using a heart embossing folder. The image was colored in using Copic markers. I die cut the image after I colored it and popped it up using 3D tape. I also added a scalloped border die cut and placed some sequins on the scallops.

Delicate Hearts Foiled
Morning love birds, Nazeema here!
Are you ready for Valentine's Day tomorrow?!!
Don't laugh, but my hubby and I have a tradition of going to In & Out for Valentine's Day. It started years ago when we started dating and it just stuck!! We get a lot of mixed views, but I think he's lucky cause he gets off the hook!! LOL
I created this card for my husband and I just LOVE how this Delicate Hearts image looks foiled in red!! I used Super Sticky Tape 3/8 and Deco Foil: Red to create the border and also foiled it, then I placed the heart image on top. I also used the sentiment from the set: "Lots of LOVE" inside the card also foiled, but I can not take great pictures handed!

A Lady in a Pocket Watch: A Card For You
Josette here with my Tuesday installment. I have this lovely Locket Lady ATC from Sweet Stamps and have been trying to come up with the perfect card. I think I did. What do you think?
The image was stamped in two parts using a mask. First I stamped onto a masking paper and then cut it out. Next I placed the stamp on my MISTI. Back to the masking piece, I removed the center of the mask, leaving just the pocket watch image on the mask. This left an area open to stamp the women in Black ink. This was then heat embossed with a clear embossing powder. Back To the MISTI, I replaced the center of the mask (image of the lady) and removed the outer frame. I stamped this in Versamark and heat embossed in fine Detail Gold embossing powder.
Using colored pencils, I colored the lady. To color the back ground I used a light touch and Cracked Pistachio to ink the center area around the lady. I fussy cut out the image and matted it onto a black oval mat and then finally a white frame that had been die cut.
Onto the background. I used a stencil and inked it with I used Twisted Citron for the leaves and then Cracked Pistachio for the white area. Using Gold Cardstock I cut a mat and adhered it to a black A2 Card base.
The image panel was added to the background, with fun foam. All that was needed was a sentiment and ribbon. Easy Peasy. Don't you just love this stamp!!!
Until next week,
Happy Crafting

Surfs Up
Morning- Nazeema here~
We've been experiencing very weird weather patterns here in California. It's a bit frustrating because it does not feel like we had a winter at all, but I am so ready for Summer to be here.
So before I move into my card today, I want to remind you to check out January's release HERE!!
For my card today, I used Splish Splash 6x6 stencil and distress ink markers Peacock Feathers and Broken China to create the background. Once the background was dried, I used Star Dust Glitter Glue to accent the tips of the drops. This surfboard bear is from the Beach Bears collection. I colored the image using the same watercolor paper as the stenciled background. I then used gamsol to give it a more smooth finish.
Thanks for stopping by today.
See you back tomorrow!
Hugs.

Looking for Guest Designers
Hello SweetStamps.com Friends!!
We're looking for.....
GUEST DESIGNERS!!
Do you enjoy working with digital stamps?
You'll be able to choose two digital images you would like
to work with!! In return, we'd love you
to share the two projects with us, to be posted on our blog here! We will link to your blog and give you all
credit! You just need to post your project to your blog and send us your write-up, we'll take care of posting it here!
Trying to keep this as simple and fun as possible!!
We ask that you use the digital image as your main focal
point. It's understandable we don't have
many sentiments, so you can print or own, or use a stamp in your collection,
but ask that it isn't too large and take away from the image as well as not
linking or talking about the company it is from.
Looking to possibly have 2 guest designers each month.
We will work out posting dates at your convenience!
This is meant to be fun and carefree!!
While sharing our love of creating!!
If you're interested, please send us an e-mail:

Time for Spring Flowers
Josette here with another Tuesday inspiration. It is just February but I am so ready for spring. Down here in Texas the weather has warmed to a wonderful 76+, the sun is out and with all the recent rain the grass is green. I am sure spring is near. So on that note, how about some Spring Flowers.
Don't you just love that cabbage rose stamp: it is available here at the Sweet Stamp Store.
If you follow my Blog you know how much I love backgrounds. I have boxes of them So I pulled one out. This one was made by spraying ink onto a white card. I did a whole series of backgrounds using a color wheel. These a yellow green, true orange and a bright yellow. I am unsure of the brand of ink but it was very glittery.
I first stamped the flower in the corner, this was more for a "target, then masked it off and stamped the remains images in Versamark and heat set with clear embossing powder.
The flower was stamped on a white cardstock with Momento ink and colored with Copic Markers. After coloring I cut out the image and mounted it on 3D squares.
After a dry run placement before permanetly adhering, it just didn't seem quite right. So I located a doily, stamped a circle with a sentiment, cut everything down and placed it under the flower. Better. The flower ended up lower than anticipated, but the doily covered it up. Lastly I added a bow that was made from seam tape and colored with a Copic Marker that had been used to color in the leaves. This was mounted on an A2 white card.
I think it is stunning and very simple to complete. A good use of a background. What do you think?
Until next week,
Happy Crafting,
Josette

Who Loves Ya
I love this cute little owl from the Who Loves Ya set. I colored her in and decided to color the hearts red for Valentines Day instead of the usual green for the leaves. I popped up the scalloped circle using 3D tape. The tree branch was done using a shade of green underneath and colored again using a deep brown color to give it a green tint. This set is available in the shop under new products.
