SweetStamps.com
has a new release featuring some wonderful new items which include
stamps, stencils and new products from the Globecraft and Piccolo
line.
My card features an image from the new set Poppy Garden which I stamped to a Spellbinder die cut panel and masked off to add the Memory Box mesh stencil design using Ranger Distress Ink - Black Soot.
The image was colored with Chameleon Pens:
OR4 was touched to RD4 which created a darker center and NU3 was
colored over all the blossoms to tone down the orange. I added the blue
shading with a blender pen and chalks.

Silly Orange Birds
Roxie here and I
just love these silly birds which is an upcoming release from
SweetStamps, look for them on March 20th along with many more awesome
images.
The image was colored with Chameleon Pens: OR4, BG4,PR4, GR3, BL3
I thought the scribble sky worked out well for the birds, I both fused and used the blender to create the different shades.

A stencil and Ranger Distress Inks were used to create the background panel, after sponging on the colors the panel was spritzed with the white distress spray to create some watermarks.
The image was colored with Chameleon Pens and all image fuses were three to seven seconds, the background was fifteen to twenty seconds. Colors used: PK3, OR4,VO4, BG4, YG3, BL3

Treat Birdhouse
Happy Wednesday from Roxie! My daughter found the pattern for this little birdhouse on Pinterest and
asked if I could make a couple for her daughter's pre-school teachers
for Valentine's Day, I did and just because they're so cute I wanted one
for myself for any occasion!
It's very easy to create but the pattern didn't have the roof pieces large enough for the house so after assembling the body I measured and made mine 1/2" wider and longer than the house top which actually ended up being a square cut.
The original post/pattern has been replaced with a purse pattern so I linked my Pinterest page here. This house was enlarged about 3/4" inch.
Images: SweetStamps - Country Grass - discontinued, Always On My Mind
Paper: Recollections heavy weight white cardstock, The Paper Company - purple
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black, VersaMark for heat embossing
Accessories: Aleene's tacky glue for assembling, Offray ribbon, Chameleon Pens for coloring
Tools: Perfect Paper Crafting - Perfect Cutting Mat, Perfect Ruler and metal ball stylus for scoring, Xacto knife, cutting scissors, 1/4" circle punch, Spellbinder circle die, Memory Box bird die, eBosser die cut machine

Blossoms and Paisley
Happy Wednesday from Roxie!
The
blossoms and background image are from the Always on My Mind set. I colored the blossoms with Chameleon Pens, dry embossed
them and popped them up on foam tape then added acrylic centers. The
panel is also popped up on foam tape.
Chameleon Pens color: PR4 and I held the color nib to the blender solution for 4
to 5 counts on the larger blossoms and 3 on the smaller. Also BK4
to color the blossom edges.

Pink Dahlia
Roxie here, my
card features the dahlia image, sentiment and a couple of the ATC
stencils paired up with the Ranger Distress Sprays and the image is colored with
Chameleon Pens.
I used Chameleon Pens to color the image; if you aren't familiar with this product - one marker will do the job of three or more markers of the other brands on the market.
Colors: flower center - Y03, blossoms PK3,PR4, leaves and stem - 0L3, Y03
The
pink panel is watercolor paper misted with water and then misted with two colors of
distress sprays while wet and once dry the white spray was added. I
then used a couple of the ATC stencils and sponged the design to add
character.
Images: SweetStamps - Dahlia, Beautiful Day
Paper:
Beckett Expression Radiance - image panel, The Paper Company - white
textured, unknown watercolor paper and green for border
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black, Ranger Distress Ink - Picked Raspberry
Tools: 1/8" Perfect Layers from Perfect Paper Crafting, Scor-Pal, SweetStamps ATC stencils, sponge
Accessories: foam tape to pop up the image panel, EK Success - Pink Sticko

Poinsettia with Chameleon Pens
Roxie here to bring you some inspiration for Christmas and to introduce a new product to the store.
Chameleon Pens were used to color the poinsettia. Chameleon Pens are alcohol ink and along with the chamber of colored ink is also a chamber which holds a blending solution. You hold the nib of the colored ink to the blender nib (vertical with blender on top) and allow them to mix/blend so when you start to color it will lie down a very light shade and will gradually get darker as you apply color.
You can also blend the colored inks: for the leaves I held GR3 to BG4 to create a darker shade, then came in the GR3 and the blender to work from the tip back and blended with the first application.
Chameleon colors: petals - RD4, berries - Y03,Y12, Leaves GR3, BG4 and I used the blender pen to lighten the tips. BK4 to color the edges.
Images: SweetStamps -Poinsettia Large, Season's Greetings
Tools: Perfect Paper Crafting - Perfect Layers - 1/8" border (horizontal panel), Spellbinder - large panels, Sizzix - scallop, Impression Obsession - snowflakes
Paper: Deja Views designer, unknown cream textured, Beckett Expressions - image
Accessories: Eyelet Outlet and Brads - medium pearls, Spellbinder - tiny pearls, Yellow Stickles for berries
