Best Dad

We are creating for Father's Day this week for the challenge- link HERE.

 Another beach scene for my project this week : )  Peerless watercolors were used to color in this serene scene.  I stamped the image on watercolor paper with Black Stazon ink.  The DP is retired SU. I made the sentiment tag with watercolor paper, sponged on the Valentine ink and used the waterbrush to color the tag.

Lucky "87"

Today is my Father's 87th Birthday!  I think I am 'Lucky' to have him around- so this is my interpretation of the "lucky" challenge this week : )

 I wanted to use a Green shade, as my Dad is 100% Irish. I cherish each visit I have with him (and my Mother) these days : )

Plus- the Braided Borders Piccolo is HERE,  I dabbed Montego Bay Ink Spot on my craft mat, and added in Gesso. I painted that on the Border, then sponged on a bit of ink over the dried color before adding WInk of Stella for shimmer, then teal pearls.

Happy Thursday!  It' Shelly here with a card I created for the 'Dad' theme this week. I decided to try to brayer a card using Shades Die Ink- Spots.  Well, worked like a charm!
