Chameleon Pens were used to color the poinsettia. Chameleon Pens are alcohol ink and along with the chamber of colored ink is also a chamber which holds a blending solution. You hold the nib of the colored ink to the blender nib (vertical with blender on top) and allow them to mix/blend so when you start to color it will lie down a very light shade and will gradually get darker as you apply color.
You can also blend the colored inks: for the leaves I held GR3 to BG4 to create a darker shade, then came in the GR3 and the blender to work from the tip back and blended with the first application.
Chameleon colors: petals - RD4, berries - Y03,Y12, Leaves GR3, BG4 and I used the blender pen to lighten the tips. BK4 to color the edges.
