Simple Roses

Aloha friends!  kel from Scraps and photoGRAFFS here today sharing with you a pretty and CAS card using the Live, Laugh, Love Roses clear stamp set!!

This set is so simple and so pretty!!  I just love how these came out!!  I colored them up (which took no time at all btw!) and then trimmed them out before popping them up on some 3D foam squares and slapping them together on a white on white card!  So simple to do but so pretty!!

Thanks for stopping by today, see you again soon!!

More Gelli Fun

Using another background from the Gelli plate today for the Things with Wings challenge this week.
I embossed the Piccolo bird cage with Rust Enamel EP, and the Piccolo bird with Royal Sterling.  The Piccolo butterflies are embossed in the centers with Rust, and I applied Honey Mustard 3D Enamel Gel to the wings, and sprinkled in a bit of the Royal Sterling EP, but just let it dry into the Enamel Gel.
The flowers from the Spring Floral Stencil were done using Embossing Paste, and the greens are colored with Distress Markers, the flowers with acrylic paint.
I added some doodling to finish off the card. The edge of the cardstock was outlined with a Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
It was very difficult to get a photo true to color.

Roses & Pearls

I got a little grungy with this weeks challenge - to use Pearls.

On the top layer I sponged on Antique Linen thru the Weave stencil first, then added some texture paste. Once dry, I sponged on Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. I added some flicked on drops of color for interest.
For the burlap, I painted it with Gesso and then sponged on Picked Raspberry. I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the raised textured pasted areas and to the burlap. I had to add just a pinch of Raspberry to the edges of the card and added a bow.

Watercolored Roses

Morning.
Nazeema, here to share a fun way to use the stencil just released last month.
This week, it was all about flowers.  So going with the theme, I grabbed the new Spring Florals stencil.  This stencil is 6x6 and has 4 different flowers on it, which are all fabulous.
For my card today, I used only one of the roses for this card.  I started by cutting the rectangular shape using a die and scrap piece of cardstock.  I did this because, I knew I was going have a great white space area and this was easier than masking.  Using the Spring Floral stencil, I added some color using my Intense color pencils.  Holding the stencil in place, I took a small brush and very little water and colored the area.  I did the same step for the other two roses, just flipping the stencil and turning it to get a different angle.
After the water dried, I rubbed the edges with Blue China distress ink.  It was a little brighter than I wanted it to be, so I toned it down with Antique Linen.  I created a thick border around the image and stamped the sentiment.

Here are the supplies I've used on my card today:

Love and Roses

I had fun with a Shaving Cream background and the Roses from the Live, Laugh, Love Roses set.  I stamped the Roses a 2nd time on Specialty paper called Silver Lustre (Paper Temptress) and colored them with Distress Markers).
I added some Globecraft and Piccolo accents embossed in Aged White. The die cuts were also cut using the Silver Lustre shimmery cardstock. And, I had a few heart sequins on my desk, so they also scored a place on my card.

White on Gold

Here is a very easy card to create and would work perfect for wedding, Valentine's Day, anniversary or just a general card.

I embossed lines/frame with the Martha Stewart scorboard and a metal ball stylus, this also created a guide for the mask.
Paper was torn using the Perfect Tears from Perfect Paper Crafting and placed inside the embossed lines and secured.  I covered the open space with VersaMark, removed the mask and poured on the gold and heat embossed.
Using the same ink I stamped the flourish image and poured on the white powder and heated.  Did the same for the sentiment using the gold powder
Next I scattered the card with loose Aged White which is chunky pieces and applied heat from the bottom of the panel so it doesn't blow away and it's ready to mount to the base with foam tape.

I darkened this photo so you can better see the out of the box white embossing.
