Hello! Happy Friday! It's Lisa here with you today and I have created a new clean card to share with you...
To create this card I started by placing my stencil over my paper, then I
masked off the stencil so that only a circle showed. Next I dabbed my
distress paint over the open area, removed the masking and let it dry.
While I was waiting on this I stamped, colored and fussy cut the rose
and leaves. I had the gold die cut left over from another project and
thought it was a perfect fit. Once the paint was dry I stamped my
sentiment and adhered the floral images and die. I then finished it
with some rhinestones.

Faux Letterpress with Dies!
Hello and Happy Friday!!! It's Lisa and I'm so happy to be here with you today! I am sharing a card that was very much inspired by the amazing Jennifer McGuire... you can visit her blog to read and watch more on how the technique I use works. After watching her video I immediately thought of the Daisy Center Medallion Die from SweetStamps.com, and knew it would be perfect for this technique...
So simple and yet so elegant! The basics for this technique includes inking up an intricate die, running it through your maching with an embossing mat, and using watercolored paper. Viola! I then stamped my sentiment, and raised my panel up but chose to stick with all white as I didn't want to distract from the Medallion die image.

Thinking of You - Elegance...
Hello! Lisa here, and today I have a really elegant card showing a fun new technique with a stencil...
Supplies Used:
Supplies Used:
InLinkz.com
To create the background on this card I started with patterned paper, taped a stencil down, pressed my Versamark ink pad for full coverage, removed stencil, and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then went over the whole thing with two different distress inks and my blender. I LOVE this look and when you hold it to the side the shine is perfect! I then touched the card off with a little embossing and gold die cuts for a truly elegant touch.

Perfect Touch with Pearls
Hello! Lisa here with you today and I have a new CAS beauty to share with you...
Supplies Used:
This card is simple to create, but has a simplistic beauty to it as well. I started by stamping the background with two inks on the center of my panel. I then diecut my butterfly image in the center of the stamped background, lifted the wings slightly and adhered it back in the negative cut. I then stamped my sentiment, distressed the edges and adhered the pearls going up at a diagonal.
I hope to see you play along in our latest challenge: Pearls

Roses & Pearls
I got a little grungy with this weeks challenge - to use Pearls.
On the top layer I sponged on Antique Linen thru the Weave stencil first, then added some texture paste. Once dry, I sponged on Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. I added some flicked on drops of color for interest.
For the burlap, I painted it with Gesso and then sponged on Picked Raspberry. I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the raised textured pasted areas and to the burlap. I had to add just a pinch of Raspberry to the edges of the card and added a bow.
Products I used from the SweetStamps.com Store:

#219 Anything but a Card ----inspired canvas
The Anything But a Card challenge speaks loudly to a mixed media girl. And my offering is this chunky wrapped canvas.
I left the canvas block untreated. A natural bleached cotton.
I chose the following elements from the Piccolo lines.
I used Mossy Glen on my word.
Vintage Gold on the Cage
Cranberry Wine on the Bird
I also used some leaves cut using the
Fancy Leaf SweetCut Die.
Again a fairly quick and quite simple design.
Have a wonderful day.

Spring.....
I love spring. I love Kraft paper.
I also love gift tags.
So here's my offering for this week.
I covered a tag base with a metallic swirl paper.
Then using my Flourish stamp set, I stamped and embossed with Java Sparkle Powder.
I also covered a Butterfly Charm with the powder. I used glue for this and treated the powder like glitter.
I then die cut three paper butterflies and three solid tulle bases for them using the Small Flutterby Die.
I stacked the tulle and die cuts and glued them in place, adding flat backed pearls. After these dried, I flexed the wings, giving them some dimension.
Tied on a bag, this is a beautiful accent tag.

Sing Me the Blues
A sweet friend has a birthday soon and I needed a card for her. I called this Sing Me the Blues because she loves blues and jazz.
I stock up on blank cards when I have a coupon so these started to coordinate with the chevron card base.
I stamped a textured card stock with the Love Bird Collage and Aquamarine Ink.
Then I die cut the lower corner using the Mini Medallion SweetCuts die. I backed the negative space after embossing it with Bahama Aqua powder. I applied Enamel Adhesive around the area with my fingertip before applying the powder.
I attached to the card blank and then embellished the openings. I used a stack of buttons for one and the medallion from the die back into the other.
Have a great week.

Midweek Sparkle
The challenge this week-HERE- is Sparkle. I took out a variety of supplies and embossed, pasted and glittered away........
There is glitter in the Enamel EP that does not show well in the picture. I also used a Stardust Jelly Roll pen to add shimmer to the stencil pasted accents.
Here are the supplies I used from the Sweet Stamps Store:
