Trick or Treat Dimensional Card

  Happy Monday everyone! leslierahye here with a dimensional trick or treat card using the Trick or Treat Ornament!The ornament comes with two globes and two rings for holding the globes on. For the card I used just one ring and one globe. I am holding back the 2nd ring and globe for another dimensional card or project.
I clipped off the top of the ornament where the hanger would go and heat embossed the center ring that contains the characters with Vintage Black. The silver in the vintage black collected on the ghost and the black and gold on the witch and the moon--it did perfect! For the top ring that holds down the globe I covered it with spider paper, edged the ring with black india ink and heat embossed UTEE on top to give a more aged look to the ring. I sandwiched the rings and the globe and held them together with clothespins until adhered. I applied a piece of patterned paper to the back of the ornament frame.
To finish off the front of the card, I embossed Vintage Silver to the edges of the matte and layered the globe over the accent strip so that the words Trick or Treat could be read.

A Beaded Wedding Pendant

  Happy Monday everyone! leslierahye with another jewelry project today! I printed a vintage wedding image to fit the 1½×2½" Bezel and trimmed it out. I glued the image on to the bezel, trimming closely to the edges and sanding with a file. Once dry I added black ink around the edges of the bezel. Next I adhered a vintage bead mix to the edges, randomly picking the various sizes and styles of beads For an additional accent I placed three along side the couple. Once this is completely dry, I layered on Ultra Thick Clear emboss enamel [UTEE] adhering with Enamel Powder Adhesive. I added multiple layers until the clear molten liquid was up to the level of the shortest beads. I finished the piece by hanging it from a silver ball chain.

Mini Canvas

Morning everyone, Tracy here. 

I have been creating with some of the new release this week, and have created a mini canvas. 

This was so fun to do. I coloured the canvas using Distress inks and then stamped along the bottom using Tall Grassy Flowers Stamp, i then dabbed adhesive fluid across the grasses and sprinkled a mix of Mermaid Tears Embossing enamel & Aged White across and heat set, I then took two of the new 3D Enamel Gels  and randomly dotted them to give them the look of flowers. 

The birds are from the Lil flowers, Leaves, Birds & Bows set and I have given them two coatings of UTEE in White and then rubbed some gold wax over them. 

The sun is from one of the new Piccolo Sets, Spring Accents, I did something slightly different with the sun.I cut it so it would fit in the corner  & then used my black Spectrum Noir and Coloured it so it was all black (including the edges), I then gave it a thin layer of 3D Enamel Gel In Daffodil Pearl, whilst it was still wet I sprinkled some Aged White over it and heat set, I then took the 3D Enamel Gel In Daffodil Pearl and put another layer on and waited 5-10 mins before wiping some of the gel away...I really love effect this has given and will certainly be using it more in the future.

Mixing embossing powders.

Hi all, Tracy here. 

I wanted to share with you a Pendant that I have made this week. 

And here is how i created it...

First of all let me tell you what you will need- 

Fine Feathers Necklace set

Black UTEE (Ultra thick Embossing Enamel)

Enamel Powder BAHAMA AQUA

Enamel and Embossing powder Adhesive

Leather Cord

From the Fine Feathers Necklace set you need your pendant, one of the feathers...I later decided to add one of the swirls to. 

Using your Black UTEE & Enamel and Embossing powder Adhesive coat the pendant, I gave this 3 coats, but 3 probably would have given a smoother coating...it is personal preference. .if you have never used UTEE before It is slightly different when melting, it will "bead" and looking like you have melted it wrong, don't worry, it will then melt fully into a lovely thick enamel. 

Anyone with a Melt Pot, this Black UTEE would be perfect to use with your Melt Pot. 

Now one thing i love with Embossing powders is that you don't have to stick with just one colour, I LOVE Enamel Powder BAHAMA AQUA, but i wanted to "break" it up slightly for this, so in a small pot I mixed it with Black UTEE , when doing this test your "new" colour on some scrap paper first to make sure you are happy with the result. 

Take your feather (and Swirl) and Coat with Enamel and Embossing powder Adhesive. 

Give it a nice thick coating with your powder mix and melt using your heat tool...again I gave this 2 coats. 

I then dabbed some Enamel and Embossing powder Adhesive over where i wanted the feather and swirl to be and put a sprinkle of  Black UTEE and melted it with my heat tool, then using tweezers (its very hot so please use tweezers) I pushed my feather and swirl into the Enamel, then when it sets it will act a glue...you can see her that they are pushed into the enamel. 

Attach a cord and you are done.
