Hello! This is Kim. I just received some fun products and had to put them to use. I started by making the background with the Tangrams stencil using Sweet Stamp' Ink Spots. I then used the Field Flower Silhouette's stamp set to stamp the floral image and die cut using a scallop die and popped it onto the card front using 3d tape. The sentiment was heat embossed using white embossing powder and adhered to the card.

Frosty Papillon
Hello there crafty people! Britt Bass here from Pink Paper Crowns!
Today I'm bringing you a shimmery masterpiece featuring Sweet Stamps' Starflake Medallion stamp, Large Butterfly Accent Piccolo, and Embossing Powders and Enamels!
Let's get started!
First, I took the Starflake stamp and stamped it twice on my background, once on the top right and once on the bottom left, in versamark ink. I used white detail embossing powder to heat emboss the images. Next, I used several colors of glimmer mist and sprayed over the embossed stamped images to create the shimmery background color.
Next, I used the same stamp and stamped it onto periwinkle cardstock, heat embossed it with the same white embossing powder, and sprayed it with clear, shimmer glimmer mist. I cut out the shape, leaving a bit of room around the edge and attached it to the background with foam adhesive. (See below how shimmery it is?!)
Lastly I took one of the Large Butterfly Accent Piccolos and covered it with Embossing Fluid and used the same white embossing powder all over the front. After that layer had dried I used layers of Embossing Fluid and Aged Pink Piccolo Embossing Enamel on the edges of the butterfly to create the look the the butterfly had begun to build up frost on its wings!
Lastly, I attached a gem from my stash to the middle of the butterfly and it was done!
Thank you so much for spending a little of your holiday weekend with me! Don't forget to visit the Sweet Stamps Store today!

Winter Blues
Good morning-
Nazeema here, coming by to share a little Wintery inspiration with you.
Christmas is right around the corner and I am already in panic mode!! I have a list of recipients I typically send cards to and I am nowhere at my quota this year!! Yikes!!

Christmas is right around the corner and I am already in panic mode!! I have a list of recipients I typically send cards to and I am nowhere at my quota this year!! Yikes!!
For my card today, I pulled out the following distress ink pads:
Chipped Sapphire and Broken China.
Keeping it simple, so you can see the 2 colors more clearly.
To add a little more something, I colors Winka Stella Clear to color directly onto Tiny Snowflake Border and stamped onto the background. The shimmer is really subtle, but I think I like. :)
The Snowflake was embossed with Bahama Aqua and then I embossed again adding a little bit of Ultra Thick White Enamel Powder.
You can see the cracks in the white enamel, allowed some blue to show through, which looks beautiful in person.
Don't forget, our SweetStamps Challenge is all month long, click the links for all the rules and details.

Good morning. Teresa here again with todays fun offering.

I immediately knew I was going to make a canvas.
Let's Shop ----

Cherish Word Accent
Create Word Accent
Dream Word Accent
Enjoy Word Accent
Family Word Accent
Friends Word Accent
HappinessWord Accent
Inspire Word Accent
Laugh Word Accent

Smile Word Accent
Aged White Enamel Powder
Mermaid Tears Enamel Powder
Pure Platinum Enamel Powder
Vintage Silver Enamel Powder
Vintage Gold Enamel Powder
Embossing Enamel Adhesive
Extras
16x20 prepped canvas
Paint and Paintbrush (I used latex in Whitecap grey)
Glue (I used a quick dry tacky glue)
Lace (this was a vintage tablecloth edging)
Buttons/Rhinestones for accents
And here we go.
This is a prepped canvas and would be completely ok as is, but I lean more towards warm tones so I painted mine my favorite Pantone Color (Whitecap Grey) which is actually more of a cream color than a grey.
After the paint dried, I took my words and the lace edging and worked out my layout directly on the canvas.
(the above photo was taken with my phone - I intended to use it only for my reference, but then decided that this was a good tip to take a digital image so that you do not forget what you decided to do)
Glue your edging to the canvas with the tacky glue. And set that aside to dry.
I had chosen the 5 different enamels listed above and I wanted a random effect. So I gathered my words and sorted them into 5 stacks. Then embossed the words. Some got only one coat and some got two. That is personal preference on the look you are trying to achieve.
Here are the Powders that I used (matched to words).
FAMILY - Mermaid Tears
BLESSINGS - Pure Platinum
LAUGH - Vintage Silver
CREATE - Vintage Silver
DREAM - Vintage Gold
CELEBRATE - Mermaid Tears
ENJOY - Aged White (2 layers)
LOVE - Mermaid Tears
SMILE - Aged White (2 layers)
HAPPINESS - Pure Platinum
CHERISH - Mermaid Tears
INSPIRE - Vintage Gold
FRIENDS - Mermaid Tears
Using your reference picture (or notes), glue your words to the canvas and set aside to dry.
Add your embellishments. I used mother of pearl buttons on the canvas and the lace accent and some flat acrylic rhinestones on the "i" in the words that contained that letter.
That detail above is of the vintage silver powder - I LOVE the hammered metal look it has.
There you have it. An Angel Words canvas, ready to gift or display.

For an OffBeat Bride - components week 2
Good morning - Teresa back here with the second week of components for an offbeat bridal bouquet.
To see the first components take off over here.
Last week had a floral theme.
This week seems to be a "FLY" theme.
I've made assorted birds and butterflies for us.
Let's shop
- Ultramarine 3d Gel
- Enamel Adhesive
- Enamel Powders
(note - link goes to main page - you can customize these as you like - I used RUBY RED SLIPPERS, BAHAMA AQUA, DEEP BLUE SKY, VINTAGE BLACk and VINTAGE silver. )
- large butterfly accent
- swirly birds charms
- Glastique Matte
- fine line tip
Assorted other items - noted in the tutorial ---
I punched all my shapes out and then decided I wanted a deep glossy red for one of my birds. I used nail Polish in my favorite deep red --- took 4 coats to get the look I wanted.
See that shape --- well - it's the part meant for discarding - I'm a mixed media artist - I toss nothing without really thinking about it.
And in this case I decided to use it.
That top little birdie is the red one with the more solid shape embossed in the RUBY RED SLIPPERS - I also cut the charm ring off of these.
The bottom birdie is the Ultramarine Gel - with the swirly shape embossed in BAHAMA AQUA.
Now the butterflies.
I made three slightly different variations.
The top one was embossed in DEEP BLUE SKY. After I finished that, I used the Matte Glastique to adhere tiny clay heart accents. The accents are designed for nails and I got them at a local salon.
The bottom one I simply embossed in VINTAGE BLACK - I love this color - silver, rust, coppery, gold. Fun
Then....
I am not mounting this against a surface, but I wanted to glitter some of the holes - what to do?
I glued the shape to some tissue paper - thin enough for the next step, and will hold my Glastique in place.
Sprinkle liberally with the glitter and then the most difficult part ---- wait for this to dry fully. (overnight)
Once dry - shake it off and gasp about your pretty sparkly butterfly.
This is all coming along nicely.
Next week a few more flowers and then we will assemble it all.
Please visit everyday - there are new designs posted and these ladies are very talented.

I glued the shape to some tissue paper - thin enough for the next step, and will hold my Glastique in place.
I tore away the tissue and then used an emery board to even it all up around these edges.
I left all the holes covered - since I used white, its a very subtle difference.
Fill in the areas I wanted to glitter - I used the MATTE GLASTIQUE and my FINE LINE TIP to do this. Keep the GLASTIQUE off the areas you do not want glitter.
Sprinkle liberally with the glitter and then the most difficult part ---- wait for this to dry fully. (overnight)

A lovely wedding gift.
Good Morning my friends. Teresa here again with a thoughtful and heartfelt gift idea. I have friends getting married and I made a very similar one of these for them. We will be sending all of our posted samples with Stacey, so while I was making the real gift, I made two.
Let's go shopping.
- Mini Key Charms
- frame from the Flourishes that I made the earrings from.
- medium heart from the Key To My Heart set
- Mermaid Tears Enamel
- Ruby Red Slippers Enamel
- Victorian Bronze Enamel
- Vintage Black Enamel
- Enamel Adhesive
- Matte Glastique
Additional Materials
- frame - no glass - and I used the cardboard spacer as my backer.
- a neutral solid matte board - mine is covered in muslin.
- vintage buttons
- assorted pearls
- a heavy duty glue (I used max tack by Aleene)
- vintage paper for backing
- old bottle
- string.
My cardboard backing was going to show and I was using a silver toned frame. So I need to fill that space. I marked the area that was going to show and embossed it with the Mermaid Tears Powder.
Look at that colored area in the picture below --- I am so in love with the Mermaid Tears colors - such a versatile coloration.
I wanted a vintage look to the entire piece - so I used the Victorian Bronze on the frame piece and the heat flash technique .
I love the way the frame turned out ----
I then found traditional Christian marriage vows in a vintage worship book and cut then to reflect some of the words and to fit the frame.
I glued this in place with Glastique. (The glastique does NOT wrinkle the paper at all and I do a LOT of paper craft so I use it often as a glue.)
Then I glued it off set to the top and center of my mat board using the Max Tack glue.
Now for the little bottle -
I embossed the tiny key charm with the vintage black enamel on both sides. (I tried several until I found one that slipped inside the bottle)
Using a vintage Mother of Pearl shank button - I hung the key with a pearl (symbolizing God in the marriage). I adjusted the spacing on the key until it was suspended like I wanted in the bottle.
I also embossed the heart lock with the Ruby Red Slippers enamel - I glued it centered to the bottom of the mat board with two mother of pearl buttons as well. (my friends will be using theirs as a ring "pillow" and these buttons stick out far enough to hold the rings.)
Now to assemble the bottle -
I added more pearls to the bottle - two large ones for the couple and five smaller ones for their combined children.
Drop the hanging key in the bottle and glue the button to the top securely.
I attached the bottle by tying it off to the mat board at the top and resting it on the frame and gluing it at the bottom with the Max Tack.
I am thrilled with how this finished.
This would also be a great way to display a lock of a baby's hair.
Or sand from a breach vacation.
How about a fluffy white feather?
My sister has a bottle with her shell casing from her law enforcement post certification.
Lots of things you could use this for.
Have a wonderful Thursday.
