Hello!!! Happy Friday and New Year!!! Lisa here today to share a layout I've made using lots of Piccolo accents, as well as embossing powders/enamels, and some art stencils! woo hoo!!!
Supplies Used:
To create this layout I started by first embossing all of the snowflakes and the snowman. Next I used 3D Enamel Gel and sprinkled the word snow with Pure Sparkle Silver Glitter, and let dry. To seal the glitter I went over it with Glastique. I also added some stenciling with white embossing paste behind my layered patterned paper.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope I've given you some ideas on how to use your Piccolo Accents! Don't forget to link your projects up to our current challenge: Food or Drink for a chance to win a $10 store credit!!!
Happy Crafting!

Steampunk Necklace
Hello my fine feathered friends!
I thought I'd try my hand at steampunk, and I'd love your feed back!
Let's make this!
What you need:
Pinch Bail
Word Sticker (Tim Holtz), sparkling ultra fine glitter (My Stamp Box), mica chips (USArt Quest), metal gear brad (Eyelet Outlet), alcohol inks (Ranger), clamp or clothespin.
What to do:
1. Peel the blue protective stuff off of both sides of the acrylic charm. Ink up the front with alcohol inks.
2. Punch out the gear and coat the two larger gears with enamel adhesive fluid. Coat one gear with Vintage Black powder and the other with Aged White powder. Heat to melt the powders and activate the adhesive. Coat the remaining gear and the little turn key with gold 3D Enamel Gel. Coat the two circles that punched out of the gears with Copper enamel gel. Let dry.
3. Once your gears are completely dry and set, cut the prongs off the gear brad and use a little E600 to adhere it over the largest gear. Clamp together for a few minutes to ensure a secure bond.
4. Paint some glossy Glastique onto the acrylic charm. Sprinkle with the sparkling glitter and mica flakes. Let dry and then use a soft paint brush to sweep off the excess.
5. Paint the back of the sticker with Glastique and add it to the bottom edge of the charm. Coat top of sticker with matte Glastique.
6. Use the E600 glue to adhere the gears to the charm (I use a toothpick to put the glue onto the gears). Clamp down (put your clamp on the metal gear so you don't mar the surface) for a few minutes to be sure it's good and stuck. Add the two copper circles, the bail, and put onto the necklace. There ya go!!

Be Mine Blingy Valentine
Happy Wednesday everyone! leslierahye here with a quick and easy blingy necklace to accessorize your Valentine outfit with! What makes this pendant extra blingy is the Pure Sparkle Silver Glitter that I added to the elements
All chipboard was coated on the back with red chalk ink and heat set. Enamel Powder Adhesive was rubbed on the front and 2 layers of Real Rust enamel was added to the big heart pendant. The key was coated 1st with Real Rust and then with Micro Black...you can see some of the rust peaking through under the black. The final element, the small heart lock was coated with 2 layers of Real Rust.
After the pieces cooled, the glitter was added to the pendant and the small locket with glitter glue. The pieces of the pendant were added to the silver ball chain with rust colored jump rings.
I hope you enjoyed my project! Thank you for stopping by today!

More Snowflakes and Instant UV Resin
This weekend I was up at the open house hosted by the Globecraft & Piccolo parent company, Sweet Stamps. This is one of the make and takes we created. A beautiful winter card showcasing Piccolo Siam Silver embossing powder and Snowflakes. We used Blue Sky 3D Enamel Gel for the accents on the snowflakes. For the sparkly edge around the white panel, we applied a thin bead of Glastique and then some Pure Sparkle Silver Glitter. There are 3 sizes of glitter in this mix which gives it fabulous shine.

I also got a chance to play with Piccolo Instant UV Resin. I started with a thin rectangle acrylic piece (coming to the store soon). I stamped snowflakes with white Staz-On then coated the piece with UV Resin. Three minutes under the UV light and I was ready for layer two. I added two Holly Clusters that I colored with Smooch ink, coating with another layer of UV Resin. Three minutes later, I stamped more white snowflakes and added the final layer of UV Resin. I added a layer of Light Blue 3D stamp paint to the back of the acrylic (love the glittery shine), then sealed it with a layer of Glastique. Each layer can be seen as you look into the piece, it has so much depth. I am going to use it as a zipper pull!

All That Glitter!
Good morning! Chrissy here to let you in on a sparkly little gem. If you are like me, you love glitter and the more sparkly it is, the better! Piccolo's Pure Sparkle Glitter (available in silver or gold) is just as twinkly and vibrant as some of the more expensive glass glitters I've seen.
I'm here to show you a quick and easy way to dress up some plain ol' wood shapes I picked up at the craft store using Glastique and the amazing Pure Sparkle Glitter.
It really is simple. Simply cover your shapes with the Glastique then pour on the bling!
Look at all that sparkly awesomeness! Shake the excess off into the glitter jar and set aside to dry.
Once the Glastique has dried, add another layer over the top of the glitter to seal it and anchor it all down. These stars are going to be used on a history project my daughter needs to do.
Thank you for taking a look at my final post with Globecraft & Piccolo. It's been a fun ride and I do hope to see some of you around the craftin' block!
Cheers!

An artsy wall hanging
It's so much fun to get crafty when you make items to hang on your wall, don't you think?
Hi, I'm Diana and I'm going to show you how I created a beautiful set of wall hangings!
You'll need some Aleen's Glue, Craft frames, and vintage text pages, to start.
Take two more sheets of textbook paper, and rub a couple of colors of oil pastels onto the page. In layering colors, you'll see how they naturally blend together. Nice, right? Now, spray it with workable fixative, and let it dry.
You can certainly use your own art, but being pressed for time, I opted for a rubber stamp. Use a nice dark color. Let it dry, then cut out the stamped image.
Now you can glue the stamped image onto the middle of your frame. At this point, think of what you want to go around the image. I decided on seed beads and gold sparkle glitter by Globecraft & Piccolo.
Also, I used a little heart shaped bead that I sculpted.
After glueing the beads, I went and used UV Resin, to ensure that they don't go anywhere.
Now, get a sturdy piece of cardstock, and some yarn for hanging, and glue it, sandwiching the yarn in between the cardstock and the frame, and let dry.
You can also use some Glastique finishing glaze around the rest of the piece.
And that's that! Once it's dry, you've got something that looks like this:
You can do a lot with something like this! Even use pictures of your kiddos, if you want.

The tell-tale heart - a cuff in the making
Hey all! I've been learning and playing with our Instant UV Resin recently and having loads of fun. I'm the first to admit I'm way behind when it comes to resin. I know it's been around for a while and I've seen some beautiful pieces created using resin. So let me explain my first attempt to you.

Piccolo Instant UV Resin
Piccolo Pure Gold Sparkle Glitter
Piccolo Heart Buttons (these are brand new!)
Piccolo 3D Enamel Gel in Buttercream
Piccolo Glastique Gloss Finishing Glaze
UV Lamp
Claudine Hellmuth's Studio Gesso
Ranger Non-Stick Craft Sheet
Karen Foster Floss
blank cuff
I began by coating all my Piccolo bookboard pieces with Gesso. This provides a primed, clean and ready surface to accept whatever I want to use to on them. I applied Glastique Gloss to the larger of the solid hearts and adhered a piece of vintage index page to it. When it was dry I sanded the edges and inked them lightly with a brown ink.
The heart was then coated with a layer of Piccolo Instant UV Resin and placed under the UV Lamp to cure. With the lamp it was cured within a few minutes. Natural light can be used to cure the Piccolo Instant UV Resin if you do not have access to a UV Lamp. It adds a really nice acrylic-like coating to the piece that provides a solid protection surface - and it shines!
I coated some additional hearts with Piccolo 3D Enamel Gel to add a touch of color, but in the end opted not to use them (they'll be ready for another project). After using Piccolo 3D Enamel Gel in Buttercream to coat a flourish piece and a few more hearts, I stamped over the surface when dry with Ranger's Coffee Archival Ink to add some texture. The pieces were also coated with Piccolo Instant UV Resin.
While the pieces were drying and/or curing, I cut and glued a scrap fabric piece to the blank cuff. I left the edges unfinished which add to the vintage look once they begin to fray. I secured the heart buttons to the covered cuff with Karen Foster Floss. Midway through the project I decided I really preferred only three of the buttons on the cuff so chose not to add the rest.
This project was really easy to put together. The resin coatings on the pieces provide protection and dimension and I have a casual cuff that looks great with any summer outing!

Colorful hummingbirds mark the page
How do you make a bookmark hum? You cover it with hummingbird stickers!
Hi, it's Candy and I'm back to share another project with you. This time I decided to create an elegant bookmark.

On the front side, I piled the gesso up a bit to create some texture.
Once that was completely dry, I added the 3D Enamel Gels.
I used Leafy Green, Blue Pearl and Cobalt Turquoise. I put them on my non-stick craft sheet and then used a paint brush to mix and apply them.
I used a heat gun to dry the gels until they were tacky to the touch and then coated them with a layer of Instant UV Resin.
When the resin is applied before the gels are entirely dry, it moves them around a bit and creates a beautiful marbled look while curing. I stuck it under the UV Lamp for 3 minutes to cure. (Normally, when layering resin, you only need to cure for 1 minute between layers and 3 minutes at the end. However, since I was using stickers, which block the UV light, I cured it for the full 3 minutes the first time.)
Next, I applied the stickers from Paper House and then another layer of resin, followed by another 3 minutes under the UV Lamp.
On the backside, I used Glossy Glastique to apply Pure Sparkle Silver Glitter to the edges. Once dry, I brushed off the excess glitter and applied a final coat of resin, followed by a final 3 minutes in the UV Lamp.
On the front side, I applied a final layer of resin and then sprinkled just a touch of Pure Sparkle Silver Glitter to the piece. Then I put it under the UV Lamp for a final 3 minutes.
Finally, I added a long ribbon from my stash to mark the pages in the book.
I love the movement of the color. It is so pretty!
